On February 9, 2024, at 10:15 a.m., an employee was assisting a forklift operator in moving a regrind silo bin. The regrind silo bin was sitting on a stand and measured approximately 7 feet tall. The employee and operator were utilizing lifting straps around the equipment and on the forks of the forklift to move the bin when it tipped and fell onto the employee's right foot and ankle. The employee suffered a talar neck fracture in their ankle that required hospitalization.
