Final narrative
A highway construction employee began to feel ill while laying down new lane dividing tabs on a newly paved highway. The employee was hospitalized for heat illness including low sodium levels leading to fatigue, numbness, nausea and confusion.
An employee was assisting with installing culverts when he began experiencing heat exhaustion, dehydration, and cramping. The employee was hospitalized.
