An employee was transporting a rolling bin of trash across the loading bay parking lot to a dumpster. The employee's field of view was limited to the right side of the bin when a vehicle that was backing up impacted the front-left corner of the bin. The bin fell to the right, causing the employee to fall to the ground and suffer a non-displaced spinal vertebral fracture that required hospitalization.
