An employee was standing on the ladder of his truck to adjust the position of a crated motor. The top board of the crate came loose, causing him to fall. He hit his face on the edge of the truck then fell backward onto the ground, hitting the back of his head. The employee suffered fractures to the face and back of the skull, as well as brain bleed.
