On June 6, 2025, an employee was performing maintenance on a vertically-stored dock leveler. After completing the hydraulic repair, the employee went to exit the work area when their pant leg got caught on the bumper of the dock leveler. This caused the employee to lose their balance and fall out of the open dock door, approximately 37.5 inches. The employee sustained a lower left leg fracture.
