On November 15, 2024, at approximately 11:45 a.m., an employee was making adjustments to a vacuum boot at the end of the bubble-forming roller of the bubble line when their left little finger became caught in the pinch point created between the bubble-forming roller and rubber roller. The finger was amputated to the first knuckle.

An employee was loading 1/16-inch polyethylene foam into an auger feed for recycling when a fire ignited at the feed from residual isobutane gas. The employee was hospitalized with first-, second-, and third-degree burns to their hands, head, and face. Flame-retardant personal protective equipment was not used.
