An employee was operating a magnetic concrete drill when the drill bit became tangled with the existing rebar on a finished concrete slab. The employee shut the drill off and untangled the drill bit when it unexpectedly jumped. The employee sustained the amputation of their right middle fingertip.

An employee was cutting wooden 2x4 wedges to raise and support a concrete pad form. The employee was supporting a 2x4 on the edge of a sawhorse. While using a circular saw with their right hand, the employee's left glove got caught in the circular saw, resulting in an amputation to their little finger.
