An employee was using a tire bar to change a vehicle tire when they slipped and fell to the concrete floor, suffering a fractured right elbow.
The employee was working to hook a trailer to a pickup truck. The employee was setting the trailer tongue down onto the hitch and his left hand was crushed between the trailer and the hitch. The employee sustained a laceration and an amputation to his ring finger.
An employee was replacing/repairing a plane wheel. They were putting the wheel back onto the plane when the wheel slipped and pinched their left thumb against a brake rotor. The employee's thumb tip was amputated.
On November 26, 2023, an employee was closing a door on an airplane when their left little finger was caught in the door frame, resulting in a fingertip amputation.
On February 11, 2023, a ground equipment maintenance technician was working to resolve an issue in the cold bag storage area on the concourse at an airport. He was moving between two conveyors when the toe of the employee's shoe caught on the lip of the equipment, causing the employee to lose balance and fall. The employee sustained fractures to the left tibia and fibula.
