Final narrative
An employee was installing sheet rock to the ceiling of the fourth floor walkway. He fell from the edge of the balcony platform four stories (approximately 34 feet) to the pavement below. He was hospitalized for multiple neck and back injuries. A fall protection system was not in place at the time.

An employee was laying glue on the corner of a three-story commercial flat roof to apply new thermoplastic polyolefin roofing material. He lost his balance and fell at least 35 feet to the concrete ground below. The employee sustained fractures.
