An employee was setting up a picking room when hot water spilled and caused second degree burns to the employee's neck, back, arm, and chest. The employee was hospitalized.

An employee was unloading chicken coops from a trailer on a dock. The employee turned to place a coop on a conveyor, and his foot slipped down next to the knuckle chain. He fell, breaking his left leg between the tibia and fibula.

An employee was rinsing off the hen line and noticed a shackle that was off the rail. He reached to put it back on the rail and caught his right thumb in the shackle. The thumb was amputated between the first and second joint.

An employee was waiting for the operator to start-up the machine and had her right hand resting flat on top of the turn-wheel, partially supporting her weight. When the operator started the machine, the turn-wheel rotated her right hand towards the opening where the giblets drop to be pushed into the package. As a result, her hand entered the opening as the push arm was actuated causing fractures to some small hand bones and a 1/4" puncture (depth) wound to the back of her hand from a bolt.

An employee was moving a 3-ton condensing unit, strapped down on a dolly, out of a garage. The strap broke, causing the employee to fall backward onto the brick pavered driveway. The employee suffered injury to a spinal ligament in the neck.

An employee was operating a stand-up forklift, picking product for an order. The forklift struck a metal rack and the employee's left arm was caught between the forklift and the rack. He was hospitalized with a fracture to the neck of his radius and an open fracture to the olecranon (elbow).
