An employee was in the parking lot spotting for a driver that was hooking up a trailer. The employee slipped on ice and fell to the asphalt, resulting in torn ligaments in his knee that required surgery. The employee was hospitalized.
During ductwork installation, a piece of ductwork was being adjusted to make the next piece fit. The isolation hanger holding the piece fell apart and dropped the piece on an employee who was on a ladder. It caught his hand against the ladder, and his left arm was broken.
