An employee was working to relieve hydraulic pressure from a hydraulic jack by backing out the hydraulic inlet fitting. Hydraulic pressure released and the employee was struck by hydraulic fluid and/or the fitting. The employee sustained lacerations to their right forearm/hand and was hospitalized.
