An employee was manually moving a 75-pound skid (loaded with boxes) closer to the edge of a flatbed slider trailer to then load onto a forklift. They lost their balance and fell backward from the slider to the asphalt below. They fractured their left wrist and right thumb and injured their shoulder and forehead.
