Federal OSHA recorded a severe workplace injury at Gottsch Employers Group, LLC, 1350 Road L, RED CLOUD, NEBRASKA 68970 on — Fractures , affecting the Lower leg(s).

An employee was riding a horse in the bud box near shipping pens and was helping a trucker load cows onto a livestock trailer. Two cows were being loaded into the nose of the trailer and a third cow tried to follow. The employee went to stop the third cow. The cow pushed the horse (and rider) down an alleyway. The employee's boot spur caught on the cow and his right leg twisted, resulting in fractures to the fibula and tibia.

An employee was trying to pull off the bottom side of a drain hose on a corn flaker to see if it was plugged when the top side of the drain hose came off and hot water was dumped onto the employee. The employee suffered burns to the neck, arms, and stomach.

An employee was riding horseback taking cattle to the scales for shipping. A cow passed the horse and twisted the employee's leg, breaking it.

His right foot broke through the grate above the auger and slipped between the slats and into the auger. The employee was hospitalized with a compound fracture to his lower right leg and required surgery.

An employee was stacking concrete blocks for a concrete bunker. As a block was swinging into place, the employee's left leg was pinched between two blocks, resulting in injuries to his left heel and lower leg.
