An employee fell while walking in his department, landing on the ground and suffering a broken left femur.
On March 7, 2020, an employee went to talk to a co-worker in a back office which is near a stock room/merchandise processing area. In that area, cardboard boxes are broken down and flattened so they can be removed from the area. Afterwards, she walked to the merchandise processing area, slipped on a cardboard box, and fell to the floor. She was hospitalized with a sprained knee and fractures to her left femur and hip.
The office had just closed, and an employee was finishing at her desk. A vendor arrived to perform their services. The employee unlocked the door for the vendor and proceeded to walk backward away from the door while talking to the vendor. She fell backward and landed on her hip.
