An employee had parked in the parking lot and was walking into the building to start working for the day. It was raining outside. After entering the building, the employee stepped off a weather mat and slipped and fell on the floor. The employee sustained a fractured right ankle.

The injured employee was standing behind a table. She jumped out to scare another employee, but tripped and fell on the tile floor, injuring her right ankle/foot. She was hospitalized with a dislocated ankle that required surgery.
