At about 3:10 p.m. on October 3, 2025, an employee was inspecting a car. Two dogs that had been in another car were leashed and tethered to a bollard. As the employee inspected the first car along with a narcotics detection dog, one of the other dogs came loose and attacked the narcotics dog. The employee was separating the dogs when the other dog bit his left ring finger. The last joint of the finger was injured and part of it was bitten off.

An employee delivered a package. On her way back to her vehicle she was attacked by two dogs that came from around a corner. She was hospitalized with dog bites.

An employee was visiting a patient's home to fit them with a wearable cardiac defibrillator. As he was walking from the front door to his car, a large dog broke free from a chain and attacked him. He was bitten on the forearm and fell. The patient was then able to restrain the dog. The employee was hospitalized with severe dog bites and required surgery.

An employee was delivering a package. A dog bit the employee in the abdominal area, and the employee was hospitalized.

An employee was restraining a cat that was thrashing in its cage while recovering from anesthesia so the veterinarian could administer sedation. The cat bit the employee on their left thumb, resulting in hospitalization due to an infection.

The injured employee was assisting a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) enforcement operation. During an apprehension, officers returned fire at a subject and struck the employee with a bullet. The employee sustained a gunshot wound to their right hand.

An employee was closing a gun locker in his automobile trunk when his left middle finger was partially amputated by the lid.

A corrections officer was working with others to restrain an inmate. During the takedown, the other officers and the inmate landed on the officer, who suffered a fracture to the right hip.

An employee was running during a fitness test and experienced heat illness, chest pains, and felt faint. The employee sustained heat exhaustion.

An employee tripped while entering a room (and moving from carpet to tile), fell to the floor, and suffered a broken hip.

On September 25, 2025, an employee climbed an aluminum extension ladder and was on top of the roof of a building She was walking around on the roof, inspecting and evaluating it. She was descending the ladder when the ladder slid to the right and twisted around as she hung onto it. She then fell 10-12 feet to the paved parking lot and the ladder landed on top of her. She sustained a fractured left collarbone, multiple other fractures, and had bruising to the left side of her abdomen.

At about 5:55 p.m. on August 9, 2025, an employee lost his footing while climbing an access ladder to a 12-foot-high spotlight platform. He fell about 9 feet to the ground, breaking eight ribs on the right side.

An employee was completing an annual work capacity test. Later that night, the employee experienced severe pain in their left leg and was hospitalized with rhabdomyolysis and compartment syndrome in the lower left leg.

An employee was setting chains to secure a concrete barrier to a front-end loader. The chain became twisted and lost slack. The concrete barricade fell on the employee's left foot, causing a partial amputation to a toe.

An employee sustained a gunshot wound to the right leg while conducting drills at a shooting range.
