On August 2, 2025, at 7:35 AM, a temporary employee was using an air hose to blow dust off the electric motor of a conveyor while standing on the belt. The conveyor started and the employee was taken through a plastic/trash trommel and out a discharge chute. The employee fell 8-10 feet and was hospitalized with a brain bleed and lacerations to the head that required stitches.
An employee was operating an asphalt grinding machine when a branch got in the way of the machine. He crawled on top of the machine to cut the branch but it snapped back and knocked him off the equipment. He fell approximately 10-12 feet to the ground below, resulting in fractures to both wrists and forearms, and a left knee fracture.
