What happened

with gloved hands I was Collecting a urine sample with vacutainer once urine collection was complete attempted to put vacutainer collection device in sharps bin. Accidentally placed my finger on the wrong side of the vacutainer to put down into sharps container and punctured finger through the glove. Puncture broke skin and bled.
