What happened

[REDACTED] was approaching address to deliver mail. As he approached the house the customer opened the door and as she was attempting to keep her small dog in the house her large dog ran out the door behind her and knocked [REDACTED] to the ground. As he was on the ground both dogs began attacking him until he was able to stand up at which point he grabbed a board from the ground swinging it at the dogs until they retreated. He sustained a puncture wound to the back of his left forearm and abrasions to his upper left arm and front forearm.
