Per BBF Log: Employee reports that they accessed a port with a 20-gauge needle. Provided Heparin. Removed 20-gauge needle and the safety guard did not engage fully. Employee felt a poke to their left palm. Single gloves. Employee is unable to find the po ke site and no blood present at poke. Employee would like to have this worked up to error on the side of caution.
