Before the incident

Police brought in pati ent for blood alcohol drug legal work-up. Aft er acquiring blood from right brachial antecubital a lot of blood was forming so I went to grab gauze. When grabbing gauze to my left pati ent pulled needle out of arm and had needle in left hand outward towards the patients left side . When turning right aft er grabbing gauze my right forearm bumped into needle. Arm was grazed but puncture sti ll occurred.
