Before the incident

Employee was operating the stream edgebander and saw the muskrat run past the bander and went behind bander to see what it was.

What happened

Employee was about to grab the lid of the glue can to attempt to trap the muskrat and the muskrat turned and ran at the employee. Employee picked up the muskrat to remove however the animal clawed and bit employee through his gloves

Employee had a few minor scratches and two bites on finger of right hand one was glued shut and the other needed 3 stitches.
