What happened

On [REDACTED] at [REDACTED] the operator was taping a corner box around the Styrofoam corner using a tape gun when there was resistance on the tape gun. The operator continued to push the tape gun when it slid and lacerated the base of the operator 's thumb on his left hand. The tape gun was in the operator 's right hand. Immediately the operator sought out first aid and reported the injury.
