Before the incident

The operator was assisting setting up the line for the oncoming shift. While doing so the employee began loading stick into the stick machine. While charging the stick machine the operator stuck their fingers inside the stick arc to apply pressure while it loaded.

Operator failed to removed their finger in time the pressure between the two arcs of sticks pinched the operator finger in between them
