The employee was actively engaged in hand stacking boxes in the shipping trailer. Also pushing boxes on the manual conveyor into the trailer to get hand stacked.

The new temp employee tried to adjust a flexible conveyor belt to fix a box jam near the dock door. While repositioning the conveyor he pulled on its rubber-guarded handle which detached due to the conveyor 's wheel being below the ramp. This caused him to lose balance and fall backward hitting his back against the dock door 's metal guard.
