Before the incident

Employee was tending to the Edmiks rotary alarm. The Edmik wasnt rotating she tried to reset it on the control panel but it didnt work. She also tried to jog it with no results. She went inside of the Edmik and find out that the cylinder in one of the pallets didnt retract properly and the pallet was sitting on the edge of the cradle. She pushed the pallet down to make it sit properly in the cradle. When the pallet fell into position in the cradle it pinched her left index finger that was positioned on the outer part of the cradle.
