EE Was assisting the trainee perform a BPC on extruder four. While attempting to close the gate the EE switched hands to hold the gate in place and upon doing so the assistant pushed the die closed smashing the left middle finger.

I was helping do a breaker with a trainee and trainee was behind messing with the clamp as I was holding the puck in place with a scrapper. When we closed it my finger (middle left) was smashed in between. I told trainee to open it up and he did. I was asked by my supervisor if I was ok and I said I was thinking it was only a bad bruise.
