Before the incident

Relieving operator breaks operating the BMC process. Routing part and cleaning table.

What happened

The employee was giving break for operators on BMC 1. They had just finished trimming a part using the table top router. When they were done trimming they were wiping off debris from the trimming using their gloved hand. The food pedal was still activating the router and the employees glove got pulled into the router bit causing a puncture and fracture of the middle finger.
