Before the incident
During a [REDACTED] lunch event the employee tripped when her right foot caught the ice chest handle as she stepped away. She fell forward and sustained abrasions to both knees her right wrist and experienced mild soreness in her upper right shoulder. She received basic first aid rested briefly and finished her shift on [REDACTED]. The next day ([REDACTED]) she reported slight shoulder soreness but completed her shift without issues. After the 3?day [REDACTED] she returned on [REDACTED]) and reported right chest pain especially when coughing. She requested medical evaluation. WorkCare was contacted and due to her chest symptoms a physician recommended a clinic visit. She was seen at Iredell Occupational Medicine on [REDACTED] received treatment beyond first aid (injection and medication) and was returned to work with no restrictions. She is back at work and doing well with a follow?up scheduled within two days.
