Before the incident

EE states swapping out two booster compressors from one unit to the next using overhead crane hoist.

What happened

EE states they were transporting the last booster to its unit. They had secured the chain around the booster. The chain slipped during transport and started to lean to one side. They caught it and tried to lower the hook on the overhead hoist so the chain could slide back to the center of the booster. Majority of the weight was on their legs and arms trying to maneuver the booster chain and themself to prevent damage or injury. The weight of the booster is approx. 300lbs and they had to hold it up with assistance chain which is causing back and arm pain. Their legs bared most of the weight.
