Before the incident

The individual was performing regular duties in the receiving area and moved to the adjacent workstation to print material labels. Upon arriving they used a chair located at the workstation.

What happened

When the individual sat and attempted to lean back to stabilize the chair one of the chairs legs broke causing them to fall backward and strike the back of the head and lower back on the concrete floor. The individual reported the fall to management.
