Before the incident

NYPD handcuffed patient hands from behind. Sergeant on-scene deemed patient as EDP. Patient was uncooperative and violent and refused to go into ambulance or stretcher.

Once NYPD managed to get patient onto the stretcher EMS technician assisted PD with repositioning the patient. Tech was standing near patient head when he got up and bit the technician hand.
