Before the incident

Responded to call for elderly female in [REDACTED]. My partner and I were extricating the patient via stair chair. She was carrying top I was bottom and RVC FD chief was spotting behind myself.

What happened

As we approached the landing with the patient the spotter stated I was down on the landing step and walked away. I proceed to take a step onto the landing step and I fell down down to the next step hurting my left ankle.
