What happened

An employee was putting an end board on a roll (end board weighs 22 lbs). The employee had the end board gripped with two hands left on top and right on bottom underneath the center of the board. The employee lost grip of end board at the top with their left hand which caused the board to drop from their left hand and fall on the tip of their ring finger on their right hand. The end board pinched the employee 's ring finger on their right hand between the end board and the aluminum core. The end board smashed the tip of the finger causing a blister and a laceration.
