Feeding the 96 Chipper

What happened

While feeding 96 chipper he encountered upset conditions. He opened the gate to access the infeed of the chipper. With the chain running he picked up a core and fed it into the chipper. He then bent down and picked up another core. As he was coming up with one end of it in his left hand the other end of the chipper caught on the moving chain and smashed his left hand between the throat of the chipper and the core
