Before the incident
TM just finished dropping off pallets and was attempting to step on the [REDACTED] platform to operate the PIT.
What happened
TM had dropped off a completed banding zone 11assignment and was on their way to retrieve another. As the TM mounted the walkie with the right foot the accelerator of the walkie was activated while the left foot was still underneath the platform. This caused the walkie to run over their left foot injuring the index toe.
