Before the incident

While playing a group sports game on the recreation field with staff and students I kicked the kickball with moderate force. Upon impact I felt a sharp pain on my upper right thigh that radiated down to my right knee and up to my right hip. I immediately sat out from the game. I continued to experience severe pain throughout the aforementioned areas of my right leg throughout student dismissal (from [REDACTED]) and informed my supervisor. My supervisor advised me to seek out medical care at Urgent Care which I did.
