Before the incident

Running parts on her machine. The guide pin was wedged in down position and operator instead of pushing the re-set button she tried to manually push the cylinder handle upward to release it.

What happened

The guide pin aligns the hing and the base of the fuel housing. The force of her pushing up on the guide pin handle to release it being stuck then when it did release the momentum of her hand pushed her finger into the equipment.
