Employee was on platform cleaning piece of equipment.

After the employee finished cleaning piece of equipment they then had to exit from the elevated work platform. As the employee descended the fixed ladder from the elevated work platform the employee 's right foot slipped off the fixed ladder rung. Thus causing the employee to lose balance and employee slid down ladder (<4 ft.) and struck floor with most body weight landing on right foot.
