Per SRIS On [REDACTED] at [REDACTED] I was taking care of a small baby when I noticed my R thumb was so swollen I had trouble pulling the diaper tabs while changing the baby. The [REDACTED] I worked my thumb became more swollen and painful. As days went by I had increased swelling and throbbing. I had to go to Urgent Care on [REDACTED] because the swelling was spreading to my hand and wrist. There I had an X-ray and was given steroids. I also used an ice bath to reduce the swelling. I had a follow-up visit with my PCP on [REDACTED] who ordered labs and referred me to a Sports Medicine doctor due to overuse. After that I experienced even greater swelling spreading throughout my fingers hand wrist and forearm with constant pain tingling and discomfort. [REDACTED] I am unable to grip objects or close my hand.
