On [REDACTED] at about [REDACTED] [REDACTED] was pushing a board through the saw he thinks the blade got ahold of his glove and pulled his thumb into the blade. This was witnessed by [REDACTED]. He reported this to Group Leader [REDACTED] and Manager [REDACTED]. He was taken to Workforce by Safety Supervisor [REDACTED] to be checked over and then was referred to the Orthopedic Institute. The OI wants him to remain off work until after his follow-up appointment on [REDACTED] at [REDACTED].
