What happened

On [REDACTED] part time Rural Carrier Assistant was working on his assignment for the day rural [REDACTED]. He approached the supervisor desk at [REDACTED] [REDACTED] at approximately [REDACTED]. He was holding his left hand in his right hand. He asked if we had any ice. I replied what happened to your hand. He stated that when he was closing the rear door of the LLV after he was done loading he shut the door and did not realize that his hand was in the way.
