Before the incident

Preparing to slide a 4-foot by 8-foot sheet of 3 4 inch thick Fin Form (that was standing on its long side in the ditch) six inches to his left. The sheet had been mechanically placed in the ditch by the excavator operator just prior.

What happened

When he grabbed the Fin Form to slide it he placed his hands on the top of the sheet in a position that was wider than his span of his shoulders.

The improper ergonomics of his pull caused a grab injury resulting in a torn left bicep.
