What happened

The employee was opening a lid on a 50 liter machine after heat treat. The employee reported the lid was harder to open than normal. He tried using more pressure and the bar slipped off the lid. When the bar slipped him arm was still moving in the upward motion the bar hit his leg and bounced back to hit his arm.
