29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1):     The employer did not assess the workplace to determine if hazards are present, or are likely to be present, which necessitate the use of personal protective equipment (PPE):      a) Paper Goods Warehouse Area: On or about 02/02/2012, the employer did not conduct a Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) assessment for employees exposed to chemical splash hazards when transporting corrosive liquid chemicals such as, but not limited to Clorox, Swell Blast Away, Break Thru Grill & Oven Cleaner, Blast Off Oven & Grill Cleaner, and United 51 Foaming Oven and Grill Cleaner in the facility.       NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
