29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1)(vii): For all scaffolds not otherwise specified in paragraphs (g)(1)(i) through (g)(1)(vi) of this section, each employee shall be protected by the use of personal fall arrest systems or guardrail systems meeting the requirements of paragraph (g)(4) of this section. On 16 May 2012 at the jobsite located at 16613 Highway 71 near Savanah MO, employees were exposed to a fall hazard in that while working from an elevated work platform employees did not have personal fall arrest systems on, nor was the platform protected by guardrails.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): "Unprotected sides and edges." Each employee on a walking/working surface (horizontal and vertical surface) with an unprotected side or edge which is 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level shall be protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. On 16 May, 2012 at the job site located at 16613 Highway 71 near Savanah, MO employees were exposed to a fall hazard in that they were working on a roof surface approximately 16 feet above ground level without an approved form of fall protection.
