29 CFR 1910.37(a)(4):     Safeguards designed to protect employees during an emergency (e.g., sprinkler systems, alarm systems, fire doors, exit lighting) must be in proper working order at all times.    (a) Workplace, South Side Tunnel/Stage Side, Lower Level  exit sign was not illuminated; on or about 06/20/12.    Note:   Because abatement of this violation is already documented in the case file, the employer need not submit certification or documentation of abatement for this violation as normally required by CFR 1903.19.

29 CFR 1910.37(b)(4):     If the direction of travel to the exit or exit discharge is not immediately apparent, signs must be posted along the exit access indicating the direction of travel to the nearest exit and exit discharge. Additionally, the line-of-sight to an exit sign must clearly be visible at all times.    (a) Workplace,  Tunnel/Seating or Land Side, Upper Stair discharge into hallway  an exit directional sign was not posted indicating the direction of travel to the nearest exit ; on or about 06/20/12.    Note:   Because abatement of this violation is already documented in the case file, the employer need not submit certification or documentation of abatement for this violation as normally required by CFR 1903.19.

(a) Workplace, Propane Storage Cage behind Seating Area   A No Smoking sign was not posted near the Propane unloading and storage area, cigarette butts were observed on the ground near the storage area; on or about 06/20/12.    Note:   Because abatement of this violation is already documented in the case file, the employer need not submit certification or documentation of abatement for this violation as normally required by CFR 1903.19.
