29 CFR 1910.37(a)(2):  Exit routes were not arranged so that employees would not have to travel toward a high hazard area, unless the path of travel is effectively shielded from the high hazard area by suitable partitions or other physical barriers.    Mechanic Shop Exit - The employer did not ensure that exit routes were arranged so that employees would not have to travel toward a high hazard area, or that the hazardous area was effectively shielded by suitable partitions or other physical barriers.  Two oxygen and one acetylene cylinders were place by the exit door.

29 CFR 1910.253(b)(2)(ii): Assigned storage spaces for cylinders were not located away from where cylinders would not be knocked over or damaged by passing personnel or falling objects, or subject to tampering by unauthorized persons.    a) Mechanic Shop - Two oxygen cylinders and one acetylene cylinder were stored upright on the floor and were not secured.  The cylinders could be knocked over and damaged by passing personnel.

29 CFR 1910.22(d)(1): On every building or other structure, or part thereof, used for mercantile, business, industrial or storage purposes, the loads approved by the building official were not marked on plates of approved design and securely affixed in a conspicuous place in each space to which they relate.    a) Mechanic Shop, Office Mezzanine- Managers Office - The above storage area did not have a marked load capacity plate.  Materials such as a copy machine, fuel tank, and boxes full of other miscellaneous materials were stored on top.    b) Rest Room / Locker Room / Mechanical Room - The above storage area and walkway did not have a marked load capacity plate.  An air compressor and boxes containing spare repair parts for trucks were stored on top.
