29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1)(i): The written hazard communication program did not include a list of the hazardous chemicals known to be present using an identity that was referenced on the appropriate material safety data sheet. (Construction Reference: 1926.59)  (a) On or about july 1, 2013, at the VA Medical Center located at 1310 24th Ave South in Nashville, TN, employees were exposed to various hazardous materials (including but not limited to sheetrock compound, FS 1900 Firestop Sealant, Ideal Cable Lube, and Acrylic latex paints) for which the employer did not maintain a list of hazardous used on the job site.  Without proper information on hazardous materials employees could mis-handle hazardous materials and expose themselves to bodily injury, and/or disease, alergic reations, and various irritations both internal and external.   DOUBLE R CONSTRUCTION, LLC WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THE OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD OR ITS EQUIVALENT STANDARD 1910.1200(e)(1)(i) WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER , CITATION NUMBER 01, ITEM NUMBER 002, ISSUED ON APRIL 18, 2012 WITH RESPECT TO WORKPLACE LOCATED AT 1310 24TH AVE SOUTH NASHVILLE, TN 37209.   In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
